You know the car you want.
We'll catch it at a great price.

CarSignal's AI scores every new listing on AutoTrader, Kijiji, and more, then emails you when one shows up well under market. Some weeks that's one email. Others, none.

Sound familiar?

You've picked the car. Now it's a waiting game.

You've already decided what you want. Checking AutoTrader, Kijiji, and a handful of other sites every morning gets old by about day four, and the right car always seems to show up while you're at work.

🔁

Checking daily is exhausting

Refreshing the same search morning and night, scrolling past the same overpriced listings you've already seen.

Good ones go fast

A well-priced car in good condition sells within hours. Miss the right moment and it's gone before you call.

🤔

Is this price even fair?

A listing looks right. But is $89,995 fair for that year and mileage, or $8,000 too much? Hard to tell from the listing alone.

How it works

Set it once. We do the rest.

No account. No app. Tell us what you're after and we watch around the clock.

1

Pick your car

Make, model, year range, budget, and your location. Takes about 30 seconds.

2

Our AI watches 24/7

Our AI scans AutoTrader, Kijiji, and more, scoring every matching listing against real market data.

3

You get the deal

When the price and mileage both check out, you get an email. One car per alert, and only when it's worth a call.

Powered by AI

An AI reads every listing so you don't have to.

CarSignal pairs a market-pricing model with an AI that reads each listing the way a sharp buyer would. When a deal appears, you hear about it first.

🎯

Scores the price

AI weighs the asking price against what the exact year, trim, mileage, and province say it should cost, then turns that into a deal score out of 10.

🧠

Reads & categorizes

It reads the full listing: condition notes, options, seller type, red flags. Every car gets sorted into great, good, or skip.

📡

Stays on top 24/7

It watches AutoTrader, Kijiji, and more around the clock, re-checking as prices move. A price cut at 2 a.m. still lands in your inbox by morning.

How the scoring works

We flag underpriced cars, not price drops.

A $2,000 drop on an overpriced car is still an overpriced car. We measure every listing against what it should actually cost and email you the ones that come in under.

01

Matched to real comps

Each listing is compared against similar cars on the market right now: same make, model, year, and trim. Live data, not a generic book value.

02

Adjusted for mileage

We model how price moves with kilometres, so a low-km car gets credit and a high-km one isn't judged against fresher examples.

03

Corrected for region

Prices don't hold the same across the country. We adjust for your province, so a BC listing is judged against BC prices rather than a national average.

04

Only the real ones

A car gets flagged when it sits well below its expected value for the mileage. A few hundred dollars off overnight doesn't count.

Why speed matters

When we email, it's time to move.

CarSignal isn't a daily digest of what's new on the market. We stay quiet until a car is truly underpriced, then send one alert so you can be the first call the seller gets. The last several great deals we flagged were gone within 48 hours.

Independent, by design

Built by a buyer, for buyers.

CarSignal is a side project. I built it because I was hunting for my own next car and got tired of refreshing listings every morning. No dealership, manufacturer, or listing site owns it, partners with it, or pays it, so nothing here nudges you toward a car that isn't a real deal.

FAQ

Good questions.

Is CarSignal actually free?
Yes, completely free for now. No credit card, no account, no catch. We're in early access and want the product to be great before we talk pricing.
Are you affiliated with any dealership or listing site?
No. CarSignal isn't owned by, partnered with, or paid by any dealership, manufacturer, or listing platform. It started as a tool I built to watch for my own next car, and its only job is to flag real deals for you.
How is this different from the alerts on AutoTrader or Kijiji?
Those built-in alerts fire for every new listing that matches, deal or not. CarSignal scores each listing against real comparable cars and only emails you when the price, mileage, and region actually make sense. And you get every site in one alert, instead of a separate inbox for each platform.
Will I get spammed?
No. We only email when a listing scores high enough to be worth your attention. Depending on the car, that might be one alert a week or one a month. Less noise is the entire point.
How does CarSignal decide a deal is worth sending?
Two layers. A market-pricing model compares each listing against similar cars (same make, model, year, and trim), adjusted for mileage and your province. Then AI reads the full listing for condition, options, and red flags. If both check out, you get the email, and it's worth acting on that day.
How do I stop or change my alert?
Every email includes a "Manage alerts" link to your dashboard, no login required. Pause, change, or delete in seconds.
Which provinces does CarSignal cover?
All of Canada. You set your postal code and a radius (25–250 km, or province-wide), and we only alert on listings within that range.
